Privacy policy

The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell your data, and the only cookies involved are analytics and standard affiliate attribution.

This policy explains what Plate & Rack("we") collects when you visit plateandrack.com, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. This is aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
  • Contact form data. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you send, solely to reply to you. We do not add you to any marketing list.
  • Affiliate attribution. When you click a product link, Amazon sets its own cookie so any resulting purchase is credited to us. That process is governed by Amazon's privacy notice, not ours.

What we don't do

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not run advertising networks that build a cross-site profile of you. We do not require an account, and there is nothing to log into.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Amazon's affiliate cookie can be managed through your Amazon account and browser settings.

Third parties

The site is served by Vercel and uses Google Analytics; product links go to Amazon. Each of those companies has its own privacy practices for data it collects directly.
